Robert de Haas
Robert grew up in Oosterhout, a small city close to Breda in the south of the Netherlands. Because of his interest in different cultures and languages he chose to study tourism management at the NHTV University in Breda. During his studies, he worked evenings and weekends in various restaurants and bars. Because of his adventurous spirit and love for foreign languages he moved to the South of France for various internships and stayed there combined for over one year. In 2008 at the age of 23 years old, he accepted his first full-time job at an international IT recruitment agency. This marked the start of his journey and career in recruitment and executive search. In 2012 he changed his specialization from IT to digital/creative -marketing and business development roles at a recruitment agency start-up. Here he got the chance to develop himself from Recruitment Consultant, Manager and eventually Director and contributed to develop the agency from three to twenty employees.
The ambition to develop himself as an entrepreneur got stronger over the years. The company was not able to support that development and in 2020 he decided to quit his job and work as an independent recruitment professional. He chose to move temporary to Greece for over one year from where he founded his own recruitment agency remotely from Greece.
In 2022 he decided he wanted to expand and build a team. Since Robert was working successfully together with two other recruitment entrepreneurs that he knew for over six years, he decided to combine forces and co-launch a brand-new Recruitment Agency, Foresight Recruitment.
Robert gets great pleasure from bringing together like-minded professionals that benefit, grow and flourish in each other’s company. By doing this he has contributed to helping people to fulfil their ambitions and companies to grow.
